henush shakshuka

Ingredients henush shakshuka


1/2 Onion - sliced to half circles.
1/2 Red bell pepper - sliced to half thin circles.
3 clove Garlic - chopped.
1 Tomato - cut into cubes.
4 tbsp Tomato paste - mix with 1/2 cup hot water.
4 Eggs.
1 tsp Grounded black pepper.
1/2 tsp Paprika.
1 Salt to taste.
1 dash Oil.

how to make henush shakshuka


Preheat a frying pan and add dash of oil.


Add the onion, bell pepper and the garlic to the pan and fry till soft . (5-7 min)


Add the tomato, salt,paprika and half tsp black pepper and fry till the tomatoes are soft.


Add the tomato paste and mix for 2-3 min.


Pour the eggs on top gently and sprinkle with the remaining black pepper . ( don't mix!)


Cover the pan and cook till the eggs get white color. (5-6 min)


Serve hot with thick slices of bread.
