cinnamon rasin bread

Ingredients cinnamon rasin bread


4 cup flour
2 cup sugar divided
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup canola oil
2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup rasins
3 tsp cinnamon

how to make cinnamon rasin bread


preheat oven to 350°F


in large bowl combine flour, 1 1/2 cups sugar, baking soda and ssalt.


in a small bowl whisk eggs, buttermilk and oil.


stir wet into dry until just moist.


stir in rasins


combine remaining sugar and cinnamon and set asside


spoon 1/2 the batter into 2 greased loaf pans


sprinkle 1/2 the cinnamon sugar mix over batter then top with remaining batter then remaining cinnamon sugar mixture


use a knife to cut thru the batter and swirl


bake for 55 to 60 minutes


cool in pan for 10 minutes then remove to wire racks to cool completly


you can wrap in foil and freeze for up to three months


to use a frozen loaf thaw at room tempurature and you're good to go!
