Ingredients teriyaki wasabi smashed potatoes
3 russet potatoes
1/4 cup white whine
1 tsp toasted sesame oil
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tbsp honey
2 clove crushed garlic

Peel the potatoes cube them and add them to salted boiling water until fork tender
heat a sauce pan over medium heat and add the wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, garlic, and ginger. Bring it all to a boil.
After 5 minutes reduce heat to low and let simmer for 5 more minutes then remove the ginger and garlic
Add the potatoes in a mixing bowl, with the soy milk, wasabi, salt and pepper to taste mash it all together
Drizzle the teriyaki sauce over the plated potatoes
