Ingredients lime cilantro slaw


8 cup loosely packed green cabbage - shredded
2 large carrots - peeled and shredded
2 tbsp chopped cilantro
2 tbsp fresh lime juice
2 tbsp canola oil
1 lime - zest only
2 tsp chili powder
1 tbsp smoked paprika optional
1 salt and peper to taste

how to make lime cilantro slaw


In a large non-reactive bowl toss cabbage, carrots, and cilantro.


Add lime juice, canola oil and lime zest to coat evenly.


Sprinkle with chili powder and paprika.


Salt and pepper to taste, evenly mix.


Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 1 to 4 hours stirring every 30 minutes.


Drain excess liquid before serving.


Do not leave in fridge more than 4 hours to save crunch.
